Easter Sunday is around the corner and metro Atlanta’s best restaurants have prepared a bountiful basket of delicious brunch and dinner options. Hop on over to one of these renowned hot spots for a celebratory meal, but make your reservations now, as space is limited.

The Federal, Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere’s Midtown take on a neighborhood restaurant, is open for brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring such favorites as chopped chicken liver, beignets with café au lait sauce, and chicken and waffles with bourbon barrel vanilla butter and Steen’s cane syrup. Marlow’s Tavern, Atlanta’s favorite neighborhood tavern, is serving brunch. On the Westside, Ormsby’s is getting into the Easter spirit with its own take on Easter eggs: Each guest receives a plastic egg filled with a piece of candy, a ticket for a free drink or another fun prize. Ray’s Restaurants is known for holiday buffets, and Easter is no exception. Ray’s at Killer Creek (770-649-0064) is laying out its luxurious spread from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., boasting such delicious options as house-smoked salmon, rosemary-roasted leg of lamb and BBQ-smoked brisket for $39.95 per adult and $19.95 per child (ages 5-10). Atlanta City Councilmember Carla Smith is teaming up with Live Thrive Atlanta to encourage city residents to utilize The Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM), by granting amnesty from traditional costs of properly recycling hard items on Saturday, April 15.
